In the United States, more than 7,700 organizations provide public transportation in the forms of buses, trolleys, commuter trains, cable cars, and more. According to PublicTransportation.org, American public transportation ridership has increased 38% from 1995 through 2008. With the increased number of riders, it is important to know the do’s and don’ts of riding public transportation.
