Dubai in Fast-Motion

What can I say? I’m a sucker for time-lapse photography and video. I just wish I had a camera (and the skills) to create something as cool as this guy did from his hotel. I mean, look at Dubai – Dubai is amazing!
The photographer, Philip Bloom, created this with a Panasonic GF1 as well as a Canon 5D Mark II and a Canon 7D – all of which are pretty sick cameras. In fact, we’ve been coveting the Canon 5D Mark II here at Offbeat Guides for a while now. Behold, the magic! (Go full screen to get the full effect.)
Check out the little blips of light from the elevators moving up and down inside the Burj Al-Arab and the Jumeirah Beach Hotel. I’d say it’s on par with this video we wrote about a little while ago and also this one taken during the Texas Star Party.
