Can’t decide between being a witch for Halloween or a priest? You were one of many sexy nurse/schoolgirl/maids last year and felt blah? Make sure you get noticed for your outfit this year and dress for success in one of 2009’s hottest Halloween Costumes:
Michael Jackson
The death of the King of Pop, whose style epitomized the 1980s, is spurring an already budding trend of 80’s style. Sport some sequinned gloves, tight black pants and a military jacket and practice those dance moves.
Vampires
Twilight, Vampire Diaries, Zombieland, the land of the undead is white-hot right now. Luckily this look is really easy to create with a little face paint and some fake blood. The vacant, lifeless gaze comes in handy for any unwanted advances during the night.
Lady Gaga
Make it a no pants party and draw stares by wearing nude fishnet tights, a tight leotard and go crazy on the eye makeup. Fierce!
Swine flu epidemic
One of the most talked about topics this year, and fodder for news stories for ages. Use your imagination for this one but be warned, people may stay away.
Pirates
For the kids, the swashbuckling look is still a favorite that can be easy to recreate. School your children on ‘Pirate talk’, but make sure you mention to them it’s for one day only!

I love the swine flu costume although I’m not sure what the wings symbolize, unless it’s medical.
