Bank of America’s “Museums On Us” Deal
September 3rd, 2009 by Victoria Nguyen
I think it’s a pretty universal truth that we’re all trying to save a buck or two these days. One of the downsides of pinching pennies is that extraneous, though culturally rewarding activities such as visiting your local museum, zoo, or science hall are traded in for cheaper in-door alternatives, such as watching endless hours of the Discovery Channel’s Blue Planet or relearning how to play chess. But for at least one weekend a month, you can get out of the house without spending a dime with Bank of America’s Museums On Us promotion.
With this deal, Bank of America cardholders with a valid picture ID can waltz into any of the participating 100+ museums nationwide for free every first Saturday and Sunday of the month. By simply flashing your ATM, credit or check card, you will get comped general admission into places like New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art, San Francisco’s de Young, or Chicago’s Shedd Aquarium.

- October 3-4
- November 7-8
- December 5-6
