Avoid These Awful Accommodations

Hotels have a tendency to spark a variety of emotional responses from people. Some can make do with just a motel that has HBO. However, if you’re on the road looking for a cheap place to stay, how far would you let your standards fall in order to save a buck? Uptake recently took the best reviews from Trip Advisor of the worst hotels in the United States and provides some visual evidence.

Personally, it sounds like the Velda Rose Resort Hotel in Hot Springs, Arkansas gets shafted in their reviews. The town is filled with hot springs, so where better to wash off dirty feet than in a spa?
